The Parsonage is proud to partner with Seguinland Institute to offer an artist residency devoted to exploring ecological issues: Maine Ecology & Art Residency (MEAR). The residency emerges from the shared vision of our non-profits to promote creativity and dialogue around the themes of ecology, spirituality, and the pursuit of the good life. Each winter we present an exhibition of works by 4 artists-in-residence from the previous year. This year’s exhibition features: Alicia Ethridge, Eileen Ryan, Brian Smith, and Holden Willard. The show opens during the residency season, allowing current and former artists-in-residence to meet and build community.
